Brooke MacNeil (Sc’25, Computer Engineering) is recipient of the Order of the White Rose scholarship, a $50,000 award established to pay tribute to those killed or injured and the families, faculty, staff and students directly affected by the tragedy at Polytechnique Montréal on December 6, 1989.

“This recognition motivates me to continue pursuing innovations in rehabilitation robotics in the IRIS Lab at Queen’s, and to inspire more girls to pursue engineering,” says MacNeil.
