Our Mission
The focus of our research at Interactive Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS) laboratory is on developing intelligent, human-centric robotics and control technologies for reliable, efficient human-robot interactions and for autonomous systems.

Our researchers
Our interdisciplinary team are working at the intersection of robotics, human-machine interaction and intelligent control systems — from robotic rehabilitation to autonomous mobility.
Research Projects
Our projects include high fidelity haptic actuators and interfaces, autonomous adjustment of task authority in shared control for haptic mentoring, home-based robotic rehabilitation systems, and vehicle autonomous driving.

Coordinate
You can find us on the Queen’s University main campus at our labs in Walter LIght Hall (Sixth Floor) or at the Ingenuity Labs Research Institute in Mitchell Hall (Room 395).
